What? With my luck, it just figures. I cannot believe this, just cannot...my Apolo isn't going to be in the World Championships. I am just so dissappointed! You know, you spend the money you really don't have, drive up to another country for goodness sakes, just to see him, and now he won't be there. I just can't believe it, I was so, so excited. Honestly, though it may seem sad, looking forward to this trip up there and getting to see Apolo was actually helping me through some of these crappy days at work. Well, I guess we now just have to concentrate more on Lucy's boy, Rusty Smith. I must curl up in a ball in bed now and console myself...so sad, so sad...

Wow, I'm so excited! Could it be, I'm actually, dare I say, giddy! The tickets came today, the tickets came today!! Jody, Lucy and I are going up to Montreal to see the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships. Wooo! I'm going to see my Apolo!

That so brightens the whole crappy day at work. I cannot express how much I cannot wait until spring break is over. What on Earth makes people think it is okay to scream and rave and be incredibly rude and disrespectful to someone because they had some kind of small problem on their trip, most of which is their fault and out of our hands anyway! These are some of the meanest people and I do not deserve to deal with such crap or be treated this way!

I was driving down the road the other day and this deer pops out of the trees. Luckily it didn't make a run for my car like the other one, it stayed along the shoulder of the road and did this bounding hop kind of thing, and my very first thought was "oh, a kangaroo!" Now, what on earth would a kangaroo be doing bounding along the side of the road in Maryland, but alas, that was my initial reaction. A little later I'm coming up on this intersection where they've been doing construction and rebuilding the road for the past few months. I'm a bit of a distance away still but I can see the truck, with a crane like arm going up to the telephone wires. The first thing that comes to mind..."hmm, giraffe." The only thing I can conclude from this is that I'm slowly losing it. How glorious!

Hmm, I'm on the mailing list for GO Airlines, the cool airline in England, and I just got an email with this subject line: Flowers? Chocolates? Or a flight to Europe?
Why, why do they taunt me so?!

Which Gashlycrumb Tiny are you?

Work? Busy, very busy, and stressing me out. What's helping? Periodic peeks at my guy...sigh...

Just a place to let out some of my random thoughts. May not know what I'm doing but I'm always learning something.
