Oh my, I'm hooked just from the website! This so beats the PBS Wilderness House or whatever it was called. And I seem to make out pretty well in 1905, well, aside from the fiance dying and all. Best line: "It is unlikely that you would ever had had to work." Fantastic.

100 Words is also a cool site; I like the idea.

Okay, so I was patient when I came out to find the side of my car covered in spitballs. I knew it was the hoodlums across the street, but I let it go. But then Barb found cigarettes wedged in her headlights, and I just spent the last half hour cleaning off the chocolate bar that was smeared all down the side of my car. So yeah, I believe a little call to the police is going to take place. Because, you know, I'd like to be able to park my car in front of my own house without worrying.

Aside from that, all is well, nothing too exciting. I feel I may be falling into my typical summer rut though; that's not fun.

Interesting thing I learned tonight - today is the very middle of the year! It's the 183rd day and there are 182 to go. Well, I thought that was cool.

Friday involved a fun party with an old friend from high school, Saturday was a DC United MLS soccer game, Sunday was getting up in the wee hours to go out to a pub to watch the World Cup Final! And so we're back to Monday, but it's not so bad knowing there are only two more days until a 4-day weekend, that is the only highlight. I'm actually pretty excited about going into DC for the 4th of July. Yes, it'll be crowded but big deal! It'll be fun, the fireworks will be fantastic, I love things like this - festivals, fairs and whatnot. And then I had dinner tonight with one of my best friends from high school who announced she's getting married; engaged this weekend!! Suddenly feeling older than I should, hmm...Oh, and I saw another old friend today, someone I met while in Edinburgh and haven't seen in the last two years! Kinda weird in a way, huh? You always meet people while you're traveling, get along great with them, get emails and the like, but who knows if you'll ever actually see them again. I've been lucky enough to keep in touch with a ton of the people I've met and have met up with a few again. Love that!

Just a place to let out some of my random thoughts. May not know what I'm doing but I'm always learning something.
